Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Deputy Khokim of Tashkent, Sharof Rahmonov, met with a delegation led by the Deputy Mayor of the People’s Government of Chengdu, Mr. Wu Hao.

During the discussion, Sharof Rahmonov positively assessed the existing friendly relations between Uzbekistan and China, emphasizing the importance of effectively utilizing China’s rich experience.

Mr. Wu Hao, in turn, highlighted that Uzbekistan is one of China’s reliable partners in Central Asia and proposed to strengthen ties between Tashkent and Chengdu in areas such as culture, tourism, logistics, and construction, as well as to implement a cross-border e-commerce system.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation between the cities of Chengdu and Tashkent and to support mutually beneficial projects.
