Tashabbus for the prize of the President of Uzbekistan has been held in Uzbekistan each year since 1996 and over 170,000 businesses, farms and craftspeople.

The completion has been launched and currently district and city stages are held in the regions of Uzbekistan.

The regional stages will kick off on 15 March. The regional stages in Karakalpakstan, regional and Tashkent city will be held from 15 to 23 March 2013.

The final stage will be held in Tashkent on 28-29 March 2013. The winners of the completion will be announced on 29 March 2013.

The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Farmers Council, Hunardmand People’s Painters Association, etc.

The winners will be determined on three main nominations – the best entrepreneur of the year, the best farmer of the year and the best craftsman of the year. Also the winners will be determined on such directions as the most young entrepreneur of the year, the best woman entrepreneur of the year, the best innovative project, etc.
