Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Taliban has urged against playing music at the Termez International Trade Center, according to Atlaspress.

The group expressed opposition to hosting musical events, requesting that the government of Uzbekistan prevent music from being played in the trade center.

Afghan authorities have threatened that if these demands are not met, Afghan citizens will be barred from accessing the joint market.

The Termez International Trade Center was established to create a favorable business environment, streamline administrative procedures, and provide necessary conditions for entrepreneurs. The center officially opened at the end of August 2024.
