Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Another milestone has been conquered across the ocean. It would not be an exaggeration to say that today people all over the world get to know us through sports. The achievements of our athletes can be the envy of other countries.

The 16th prestigious international tournament "Big Apple" in the sport of taekwondo ITF took place in New York, USA. The United States of America became the host of the competition, and countries such as Canada, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Honduras, Argentina, as well as Uzbekistan and other countries with a more developed ITF taekwondo direction became guests of the competition.

Athletes from Uzbekistan competed for victory in 3 ITF taekwondo disciplines.

Athletes O. Jalilov and A. Hamidullaev became winners of these competitions.

In particular, Abdujabbar Hamidullaev won a gold medal in the final of the competition. Jalilov Oybek won the silver medal. O. Jalilov also added one more silver medal to his account in massogi competitions in the weight category up to 90 kg.

Thus, our representatives returned to Tashkent with 1 gold, 2 silver, a total of 3 medals.
