Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A system for registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons - emehmon.uz - has been launched in Uzbekistan on 15 July. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons can register at the place of residence upon arrival through the emehmon system and without participation of state bodies within 30 minutes.

Using the system, foreign citizens and stateless persons should fill in special form and pay tourist fee.

For guests who registered in accommodation facilities and paid tourist fees, but do not live in them, there is a special point in the emehmon system - independent tourists.
