Fathiddin Fakhruddinov, deputy director-general of the company, said that currently, Super iMax pays attention to development of its network in Tashkent, but added that the company will expand its network to all territory of Uzbekistan in next several years.
Super iMax is rendering broadband Internet services on mobile and fixed WiMax networks. Fixed WiMax networks currently covers Tashkent, Andijan, Ferghana and Samarqand regions of Uzbekistan. Both mobile and fixed networks were launched in September 2008.
The company invested over US$10 million to its network and plans to invest about US$10-15 million a year. It is expected that the fixed network will cover all territory of Uzbekistan by the end of 2009.
Currently, the company serves 429 subscribers and plans to increase their number to 3,000 by the end of 2008 and 10,000 by the end of 2008. The company said that the main share of subscribers is legal entities.
