On 11 October 2013 usto Mirzakbahrom Abduvakkhabov, the potter in the 15th generation, presented his best collection of ceramic products. Mirzabakhrom Abduvakhabov is one of the keepers of Andijan traditional ceramics secret, he inherited from his father, grandfather, great-grandfathers.

The works of the potter are of high quality and craftsmanship. Each pattern of his dishes, bowls, jugs has a hidden symbolic meaning. Thus, according to the art museum experts, a lattice pattern means protection from the evil eye, curved ram horns symbolize the wealth, a petal pattern is a symbol of agriculture, and arched pattern says about Islamic traditions.

His three sons and an 11-year-old grandson, who, despite his age, is a full-fledged successor to the pottery family, help Mirzabakhrom Abduvakhabov to keep the traditions of their ancestors.

The Andijan ceramics exhibition can be visited at the Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan until October 15.
