Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 26 November 2024, as part of the 10th Alliance of Civilizations Forum in Lisbon, Portugal, a meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhramjon Alayev, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Stojanovic.

During the meeting, the discussion focused on advancing bilateral relations to a new level, developing economic diplomacy, and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation.

The sides emphasized the importance of expanding the legal framework and establishing collaboration in the cultural and humanitarian sectors.

Special attention was given to migration issues, with a focus on stimulating legal migration and strengthening measures to protect the rights and interests of citizens.
