Street in Grozny to be named after Uzbek theologian
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A street in Grozny (Chechnya) will be named after prominent theologian and activist, one of the leaders of the Muslims, Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf, head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadirov said at his Instagram page.

Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf died in Tashkent on 10 March during excises in sport hall from heart attack. He was buried on 11 March and thousands of people came to the ceremony in Uzbek capital.

Kadirov said that at all mosques and settlements in Chechnya are praying for Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf. He said he decided to name one of Grozny street after him.

Chechnya leader recalled that Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf was a teacher of his father, former President of Chechnya Ahmat Kadirov, when he studied at Tashkent Islam Institute.
