State Tourism Committee, Danfo discuss establishment of cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 January 2018, chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov held a meeting with officials of the Swedish company Danfo.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss practical aspects of the organization of toilet facilities in different regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the foreign partner was informed about the measures taken to develop the country’s tourism industry, in particular to increase the tourist flow from foreign countries. It is noted that the creation of a network of modern toilets throughout the country is one of the important components for the country’s tourist image.

A representative of the Swedish company informed about the advantages of Danfo’s automated toilets, which consist in a wide choice of modern products from mobile cabins to fully automated toilets in combination with first-class design, reliable anti-vandal performance, comfort and functionality.

Danfo also developed flexible financing options that allow the client not to pay the entire amount immediately for the supplied toilet, but to enter into a long-term lease or lease contract or to finance it through other commercial schemes (for example, advertising space), which allows customers to purchase high-quality toilets even with small budgets. So, on average, one cabin of an autonomous high-tech toilet costs about 2.5 thousand euros, and a two-point toilet made of sandwich panels of about 4,5 thousand euro.

In turn, the chairman of the State Committee for Tourism said that the committee will provide all necessary assistance in implementing similar projects and suggested that the company enter the Uzbek market as an operator of similar toilets.

For successful work in the market of Uzbekistan, the company was offered to develop various typical toilet projects taking into account the climate of our country, including those functioning in conditions of lack of sewerage, connection to water and electricity. That is, toilets should have their own disposal tanks, water tanks, and in some cases are equipped with solar panels for lighting.

Also, the head of State Tourism Committee was asked to study the possibilities of maximum use of materials and components produced in Uzbekistan (for example, sandwich panels, plastic pipes and parts, fasteners, etc.) in the construction of toilets, which will significantly reduce the cost price and offer acceptable prices for the finished product at local market.
