During the meeting, a memorandum on cooperation was signed, according to which in order to increase the tourist flow from Turkey to Uzbekistan and promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the parties will solve practical issues of interaction between tour operators of both countries, promotion of tourism products, as well as training and professional development of the Association of Private Tourist Organizations (APTO) under the State Committee for Tourism of Uzbekistan.

The head of the association TURSAB invited to participate with the national stand of Uzbekistan at Travel Turkey Izmir (7-10 December 2017) and EMITT Istanbul (25-28 January 2018) at no cost.

These events are an excellent venues for negotiations between Uzbek and Turkish tour operators and will contribute to effective promotion and disclosure of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Turkey.
