During the analysis, it was revealed that Department of licensing and control over medical service quality of the Ministry of Healthcare issued over 2,000 licenses to establishments, rendering medical analysis services in Uzbekistan.
Number of institutions, rendering paid medical services in Uzbekistan, grew 1.1 times year-on-year in 2010. At the same time, the volume of rendered medical analysis and diagnosis services rose from 1.1 to 1.6 times.
If 550 entities carried out 45,479 blood tests in 2009, a year later 610 enterprises conducted 73,269 test, the committee
said. The analysis showed that 20 medical establishments in Tashkent charged clients from 8,500 soums to 33,700 soums for the test of Prolactin hormone test.
The committee said that it directed corresponding proposals to the Ministry of Health to eliminate existing problems, which was revealed during the study.
