About 30 people from 16 European and Central Asian states, including officials of Uzbekistan, participated in the workshop.
According to the press service of the Uzbek Finance Ministry, the role of the state in economy, macroeconomic corrections and public finance management, interaction between tax-budget and monetary-credit policy, sustainable budget, budget rules and other issues were considered at the workshop.
The participants also considered trends in public expenses, strategy for reforming public expenses, principles and role of taxation, etc.
The Uzbek specialists also presented a national model of macroeconomic management and fiscal policy in Uzbekistan.
