Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 3 to 10 May this year, a delegation of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the support of the World Bank, is visiting Uzbekistan to exchange experience on reforming and digitalizing tax administration.

During bilateral meetings, issues of applying the provisions of the new tax legislation of the two countries, in particular, the features of taxation systems, a risk-based approach to tax control and the provision of tax services in electronic form, are considered.

The parties are also discussing possible prospects for establishing regular and systematic cooperation between the tax administrations of the two countries in developing both the provisions of domestic tax policy and joint approaches to counter the modern challenges of international taxation.
