Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, at the 226th kilometer of the Samarkand Department of Main Gas Pipelines, a bulldozer that carried out earthworks damaged a gas pipeline.
According to the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, the valves at the 215th kilometer of the gas pipeline were closed to prevent the leakage of a large amount of natural gas.
A special working group is taking action to eliminate the fault in the pipeline.
Natural gas is being delivered to consumers eastward through pipelines owned by the Gallaorola Gas Transmission Authority and steps are being taken to prevent interruptions.
