Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the first quarter of 2022, 12,072 km of fiber-optic communication lines were laid throughout the Republic. This ensures high-quality access to Internet services even in the most remote areas. This was announced by the head of the information service of JSC "Uzbektelecom" Timur Mamajonov.

Until 2026, it is planned to fully cover all settlements of the country with high-speed Internet.

In the 1st quarter of 2022, Uzbektelecom JSC contributed to the effective conduct of a total of 8 economic and social events by providing LED screens and telecommunications services.
