The press release of the Ministry said that Bahk Jae-wan will fly to Uzbekistan from Moscow, Russia, on Thursday, 30 August.
The minister will leave for Uzbekistan to meet with his counterparts of the central Asian country in Tashkent on Friday, the release reads.
The planned meeting will mark the first ministerial gathering with a central Asian country. The meeting, in particular, comes as the both countries mark the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.
Finance and taxation will be among the topics to be discussed, the officials said, adding that construction, energy, medical, the environment and labor issues are also expected to be dealt with during the meeting.
