South Korean envoy holds negotiations at Uzbek Foreign Ministry
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea to Uzbekistan Jung Dae Wan on 21 June 2011.
The Uzbek Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting, it was said that regular contacts in high level play key role for development of bilateral cooperation.
The sides noted that the state visit of Korean President Lee Myung-bak to Uzbekistan in May 2009 and Uzbek President Islam Karimov to South Korea in February 2010 helped to deepen trustful relations between two states and confirmed adherence of the states to further development of the strategic partnership.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on actual issues of bilateral cooperation.
