The organizers of this wide-scale project “Health in family” are Fund Forum, Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, Women’s Council and Association of breast cancer “For Life”. The City Children House has 100 children, including 40 children with health problems.

The cooperation between Uzbek specialists and Korean specialists from Bundan Hospital under Seoul National University has been set in 2009. The sides carried out 46 operations on heart and six children with heart problems were treated in South Korea.

Four groups of Korean doctors arrived in Tashkent in May 2011 and carried out charity operations. The forty-five professionals did 30 surgeries to remove mouth defects, 10 heart surgeries and 12 orthopedic surgeries and provided dental treatment for over 400 people.

On 1-8 October, operations on removing brain tumors of 29 people are conducted at National Scientific Center for Emergency Aid in Tashkent.

It is worth to mention that South Korean specialists bring all necessary equipment and medicaments for operations.
