Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Joint-stock company "Uztemiryulkonteyner" has organized a container block train route from China to Uzbekistan. The first container block train departed from Jinhua station, located in eastern China, and arrived at Nazarbek station in Uzbekistan.
According to the company, the train traveled through Kazakhstan’s Altynkol station and reached its final destination, covering a distance of 6,250 km in just 12 days. The train consisted of 50 forty-foot containers.
Upon arrival at Nazarbek station, the cargo, including industrial equipment and consolidated goods, will be transferred to express container block trains heading to Urgench station. These trains will utilize fitting platforms owned by Uzbekistan Temir Yollari.
