Some tourists to get preferences at visiting sights, museums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An order of providing preference to some categories of tourists at rendering paid services was adopted in Uzbekistan, Uzbektourism national company said.

The document was developed to provide additional social support to some category of tourists – citizens of Uzbekistan – at providing paid services by cultural and recreation institutions.

The order will be applied to such institutions as cultural-recreation, theatres, museums, parks, protected natural territories, cultural heritage objects.

According to the document, participants and invalids of the World War II, as well as persons, equaled to them, people with disabilities of I and II group, veterans of labour and pensioners, guardians of Sahovat houses, children under school age and orphans from Mehribonlik and Murruvat houses can receive preferences.

The preferences can be provided to servicemen, undergoing military service as privates and sergeants.

The list of paid services, on which preferences are provided, is approved by the head of the institutions and preferences are set based on tariffs for paid services.

The document said that participants and invalids of the World War II, as well as persons, equaled to them, guardians of Sahovat houses, orphans from Mehribonlik and Murruvat houses will receive 100% discount from the price of the service.

People with disabilities of I and II group, veterans of labour and pensioners, children under school age, servicemen, undergoing military service as privates and sergeants will get 50% discount from tariffs.

The people, outlined in the order, can visit protected natural territories without paying any fee.
