Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-March 2024, farms in Uzbekistan caught 6,669.5 tons of fish. This was stated by the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.

It is noted that the volume of fish catch increased by 34% compared to the same period in 2023.

During the reporting period, Uzbekistan exported fish worth US$0.3 million, while imports amounted to US$7.7 million.

Last year 198,900 tons of fish were caught in Uzbekistan, which is 7.3% higher than in 2022.
