Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – About 4.6 trillion soums of VAT were returned to exporting enterprises of Uzbekistan in January-October 2023, the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan said in the statement.

For 10 months of this year, 1,249 business entities, on the basis of 3,936 requests submitted by them for compensation of the negative difference in VAT that arose during the export of goods, as well as a result of the application of a zero rate when selling goods placed under the customs regime of processing in the customs territory and exported from territory of Uzbekistan, funds in the amount of 4.63 trillion soums were returned.
