This year, representatives of 58 countries presented their unique music and songs. Heads of several authoritative international organizations took part in the festival as honorary guests.

The ceremony of awarding of the winners and prizewinners of the XI international music festival Sharq Taronalari was held in the amphitheater of Registan Square.

According to the decision of the authoritative jury, the Grand Prix of the XI international music festival Sharq Taronalari was awarded to the representative of Azerbaijan, Sohib Poshshozoda, UzA reported.

The first place was awarded to the representatives of the Foundation for Preservation of Folk Songs Geosong (South Korea) and the representative of Uzbekistan Mohichera Shomurodova.

The second place was taken by artists from Kyrgyzstan and Latvia. Representatives of teams from Iran, Indonesia and Turkey received diplomas of the third degree of the festival.

The festival ended with a concert program of local masters of arts and young performers, as well as a musical and light show in 3D format “Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan is the heritage of all mankind”.
