Smart TV Production with AI Features Launched in Samarkand Region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Production of smart televisions with integrated artificial intelligence has been launched at the “Uramas” enterprise in Taylak district of Samarkand region. The new manufacturing project is located in the Adas mahalla, according to the newspaper “Xalq so‘zi”.
According to the head of LLC “Uramas,” Amirxon Suvonkulov, the enterprise previously specialized in producing six models of vacuum cleaners, as well as heat-resistant cables, which are manufactured exclusively at this facility in Uzbekistan and supplied to both the domestic market and neighboring countries.
Since the beginning of 2026, a new television production line has been launched at the enterprise. The project was implemented with investments totaling 8 billion soums. The production facility is equipped with machinery imported from China.
The enterprise currently produces smart televisions with screen sizes of 55–60 inches. By the end of the year, the company plans to expand production to 75–100 inch models.
According to the company, the key feature of the new products is the integration of artificial intelligence, enabling users to access advanced smart functions.
The enterprise is also working to increase localization levels. While component localization for vacuum cleaner production has already reached 80%, the company plans to begin manufacturing internal TV components domestically by the end of the year.
At present, the enterprise employs 65 people, most of whom are women. Chinese specialists were involved in staff training to support production and safety standards.
Employee Shahnoza Kenjaeva noted that workers were trained in production processes and safety requirements, and emphasized the convenience of the factory’s proximity to employees’ homes.
According to the source, there are currently 216 industrial enterprises operating in Taylak district. Industrial output in the district reached 3.382 trillion soums in 2025, with further growth expected this year.
