Shukhratbek Kurbanov becomes the advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of TBC Bank for business payment development.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 5 May 2025, Shukhratbek Kurbanov has assumed the position of Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of TBC Bank for the development and servicing of business segment payments.
According to the bank, this appointment is another step in the bank’s strategy to expand financial services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in Uzbekistan.
TBC Bank is actively developing its support for entrepreneurs. Last year, the bank launched TBC Business — the country’s first fully digital platform for SMBs, allowing them to manage all banking and related operations remotely. In April 2025, as part of this platform, short-term business loans of up to 300 million soums with terms of up to three years and fully digital processing were introduced.
Nika Kurdiiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, noted: "We are happy to welcome Shukhratbek Kurbanov to our team. His appointment is an important step in the company's strategy to create a comprehensive financial solution for SMBs. Before his appointment, Kurbanov led the National Interbank Processing Center (NIPC) for over six years, the operator of the Humo payment system, where he played a key role in the development of the national payment infrastructure.
