Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspects construction of new overpass in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
On 3 February, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with construction of new overpass, which is constructed at intersection of Bunyodkor and Muqimi streets in Chilanzar district of Tashkent city.
The length of new six-lane overpass will make up 900 meters, height - 6 meters and a width - 24 meters.
Two pedestrian passages will be constructed as well. The special constructions to protect pedestrian from rain and snow will be installed as well.
Uzbek leader said that number of cars is increasing in Uzbekistan and special attention should be paid to construction of new roads and bridges.
President gave his recommendations on fast and quality construction of the bridge, which will be launched on the eve of Navruz (21 March).
