Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed sincere condolences to the President of Ethiopia Sahle-Work Zewde and UN Secretary-General António Guterres in connection with death of passengers, including 19 United Nations staff members, and crewmembers of the aircraft, crashed on 10 March after taking off from Addis Ababa.

An Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max-8 plane has crashed shortly after take-off from Addis Ababa, killing all on board.

The airline said 149 passengers and eight crew members were on flight ET302 from the Ethiopian capital to Nairobi in Kenya.

About 32 Kenyans, 18 Canadians, eight Americans and seven British nationals were among the passengers of the flight.
