Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Emomali Rahmon, and Sadyr Japarov attend cultural concert of three countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Presidents of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan — Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Emomali Rahmon, and Sadyr Japarov — participated in a joint event, a concert of cultural masters from the three countries.

In his welcoming speech, the President of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the peoples of the brotherly countries on the celebration of the spring renewal holiday, Navruz, and the sacred Ramadan Hayit.

"Today is truly a great and long-awaited holiday for our peoples. We have signed the historic Treaty on the point of intersection of the state borders of the three countries. From now on, these borders will symbolize brotherhood, a space for new opportunities, creation, and integration," the President emphasized.

He noted that the peoples of the three countries are united by sacred land, a common religion, shared concerns, joys, and aspirations. "Our common efforts are aimed at transforming this beautiful land and ensuring a dignified and happy life for both present and future generations," the President added.

In recent years, significant positive changes in bilateral relations have been achieved thanks to the political will of the countries.

Today, the Treaty on Allied Relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan has entered into force, and a similar treaty with Kyrgyzstan will be signed in the near future.

It was highlighted that trade, investment, freight transportation, and mutual travel indicators are growing dynamically. The number of successful cooperation examples is increasing.

During the negotiations, an agreement was reached to create favorable conditions for business and cultural exchanges, increase the number of direct flights, and launch new bus routes between border cities.

Particular attention was given to regularly holding cultural events, creative festivals, youth forums, and sports competitions.

"Art knows no borders, and its great mission is to unite people. Today’s concert of talented artists from the three countries will once again confirm the richness, diversity, and commonality of our cultures," concluded the President of Uzbekistan.
