Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates Uzbekistan’s high school graduates: “Never stop striving, exploring, and creating!”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 May 2025, the last school bell will ring for more than 450,000 graduates across Uzbekistan. In a heartfelt and inspiring address, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the students, emphasizing the vital role of youth as the cornerstone of the country’s future.

“I sincerely congratulate you on this joyful and unforgettable day — the successful completion of school, receiving your diplomas, and stepping into an independent life,” the President said in his message.

Festive ceremonies will be held at over 10,000 schools nationwide, where teachers, parents, and community representatives will offer their congratulations. Special recognition was given to more than 11,500 gold and 2,000 silver medalists who have set an example in academics and civic life.

President Mirziyoyev underscored that Uzbekistan’s progress relies on an educated, enterprising, and patriotic youth: “We are creating the conditions for the active involvement of the younger generation — the builders of our future — in the construction of the New Uzbekistan.”

The address also highlighted the wide opportunities available in the country for modern education and professional development. Uzbekistan now hosts 201 higher education institutions, 598 technical colleges, and hundreds of mono-centers, tech parks, and cultural and sports facilities.

Digital platforms and new educational programs are being actively introduced, enabling students to shape their own personalized paths for development.

The President expressed confidence that young people will seize these opportunities, become professionals, and defend the interests of their country with pride: “Live up to this great trust! Never stop striving, exploring, and creating!”

He reminded graduates that honest work, the pursuit of knowledge, dedication to one’s profession, love for family, and respect for both national and universal values remain life’s enduring pillars.

“In our fast-changing world, it is courageous, determined, and committed young people like you who must achieve meaningful results every day, build resilience through challenges, and move forward — always forward,” the President concluded.
