On 21 August, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to further improve the material and technical base of the Pakhtakor football club”.

Uzbek leader approved a proposal on sale of 80% stake in Pakhtakor Football Club for zero redemption price to SFI Management Group.

The foreign enterprise will undertake investment obligation to invest 200 billion soums in five years to Pakhtakor. The funds will be used for construction, reconstruction, overhaul of buildings and structures, bringing them in line with international standards.

SFI Management Group will receive the right to dispose of the shares of the club after fulfillment of investment obligations. Khokimiat of Tashkent city will own 20% of the shares of the football club.

The President approved the reorganization of PAXTAKOR Sports Training Center and PAXTAKOR TENNIS ACE through their merge with Pakhtakor Football Club.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev granted tax benefits to Pakhtakor Football Club and foreign employees of the company until 1 January 2023.
