Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 June, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov introduced to the government five persons appointed to new positions by decision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Abduvagos Rafikov was appointed as the chairman of the Committee on Industry, Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Azim Akhmedkhadjaev became director of the Atomic Energy Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Olimjon Umarov took the post of First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies.
Jamshid Tursunov was appointed chairman of the Highways Committee of the Ministry of Transport.
In addition, Amriddin Abdurakhmanov was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Road Committee of the Ministry of Transport with the aim of introducing advanced foreign experience in the transport sector, road infrastructure and digitalization.
