Sergei Cherepnin appointed as chief financial officer of Beeline
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sergei Cherepnin has been appointed as chief financial officer of Beeline, the press service of the company said.

Unitel CEO Dmitry Shukov said: “The role of financial management in a period of digital transformation, expansion of networks and implementation of LTE and the next technological leap is very large. The implementation of such ambitious projects requires a strategy and is closely linked with the execution of the investment program of Beeline. The fact that the financial block of the company during this period was headed by an experienced manager, as Sergei, I consider it a great success for VimpelCom in Uzbekistan.”

“Getting started in a new position, I hope to bring new vision and ideas in the development of business of Beeline. Believe that the financial stability of the enterprise, long-term planning and competent assessment of new activities, advanced solutions and innovation – the key to successful work and positive customer experience,” — said Sergei Cherepnin.

Sergei Cherepnin was born 19 February 1972. After graduating with honors in 1994, the faculty of mechanics and mathematics, Moscow State University, in 2003 he received a diploma in the MBA program of the American Institute of business and Economics (AIBEc) in Moscow.

From 1995 to 2000 Sergei worked in several companies specializing in commercial management and consulting. In the period 2000-2006 has held a number of leadership positions in the financial unit of VimpelCom, including the position of financial Director of the Moscow regional branch and Beeline in Ukraine.

In 2006 appointed chief financial officer of Nokia Siemens Networks in Russia. Since 2012, became CFO of Nokia by region, connecting Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. In September 2014 Sergei Cherepnin took the position of CEO of Nokia Networks in Russia.

Sergei is married and has two daughters. Conducts an active way of life, his main hobby is travelling.
