Sepahan opened the scoring through Jalalaldin Mohammadi after two minutes before Gochguly Gochguliyev leveled the scores in the 70th minute as Kuruvchi claimed their 13th point at the top of the standings.

Sepahan took a quick lead after just two minutes when striker Jalalaldin Mohammadi made his way down the left flank before firing a powerful shot past Kuruvchi goalkeeper Murotjon Zukhurov.

That goal sparked Kuruvchi into life and they went on the attack looking to get immediately back into the game and they should have levelled the scores after 18 minutes when Anvarjon Soliev broke the offside trap and had only the goalkeeper to beat but he sent the ball over the crossbar.

Kuruvchi went close after 22 minutes when Gochguly Gochguliyev saw his shot go just over before Sepahan goalkeeper Mohammad Savari saved a powerful effort from Victor Karpenko.

Sepahan nearly doubled their advantage after 33 minutes when Hamed Rasouli’s shot from inside the area went just over the crossbar.

Kuruvchi continued to pressure in the second half and they went close after 50 minutes when Jasur Hasanov sent a cross from the right that was headed wide by Anvarjon Soliev.

Two minutes later, Sepahan then had a chance to score again when Hojatolah Zad Mahmoud crossed from the left for Hamed Rasouli but Kuruvchi goalkeeper Murotjon Zukhurov caught the ball.

Kuruvchi had a fine chance to equalise in the 57th minute when Victor Karpenko struck a powerful free kick from the right flank but Sepahan goalkeeper Mohammad Savari pushed the ball behind for a corner.

But the Uzbeks leveled the scores three minutes later when Server Djeparov’s corner was punched away by Sepahan goalkeeper Mohammed Savari but Gochguly Gochguliyev was in the right place to head home from close range.

Gochguliyev was forced to leave the match soon after as he injured his eye when he clashed with the head of an Iranian defender after scoring but Kuruvchi were not affected and nearly scored a late winner but Anvarjon Soliev’s header slammed the woodwork with eight minutes remaining.
