Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Senate of Uzbekistan approved the Law "On the Ratification of the Tenth Additional Protocol (Addis Ababa, September 7, 2018) and the Eleventh Additional Protocol (Abidjan, on 26 August 2021) to the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union."

The document aims to strengthen international postal cooperation and develop sustainable and efficient postal services. The protocols provide for:

• Expanding partnerships with member countries of the Universal Postal Union.
• Organizing international postal exchange under new conditions.
• Protecting Uzbekistan's interests when interacting with postal operators of other countries.

Senators noted that the ratification of these protocols will strengthen Uzbekistan's position in the international postal system and improve the quality of postal services in the country.

The Law was unanimously approved.
