Senate ratifies Instruments amending ITU Constitution and Convention
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved a law “On ratification of the Instruments amending the Constitution and the Convention of the International Telecommunication Union, adopted by the Plenipotentiary Conferences in 2006 (Antalya) and 2010 (Guadalajara)”.
The document is aimed at ratifying Instruments amending the Constitution and the Convention of the ITU, which were signed in 2006 and 2010.
The ratification of the documents will ensure active participation of Uzbekistan in international activity on standardization in communication and information, expand access of Uzbekistan to modern IT solutions in data transfer, allow to exchange international experience.
