Senate approves resolution on amnesty

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved a resolution on amnesty in connection with the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan.

The resolution was adopted at the tenth plenary session of Senate, which is taking place in Tashkent.

The amnesty will be applied to those, who committed crimes, which are not dangerous to the society.

It is planned the release of women, those who were under 18 when committing a crime, as well as men at the age of over 60 and foreign citizens.
