Uzbekistan 31/08/2009 Senate appoints new head of State Nature Protection Committee

Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan appointed new head of the State Nature Protection Committee. The upper house of the parliament passed a corresponding resolution on 29 August 2009.

In line with the resolution, new chairman of the committee will be Nariman Umarov.

Previous head of the committee Boriy Alikhanov has been relieved of his duties because of his transfer to another post.
