Senate amends Criminal Code, Code on administrative responsibility

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved a law “On introduction of changes and amendments to Criminal Code of Uzbekistan and Code of Uzbekistan on administrative responsibility”, the press service of the upper house of parliament said.

The law was approved at the Eighth session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, which kicked off in Tashkent on 23 March 2012.

The document was directed at further improving legal and administrative legislation through strengthening for crimes and violation against morality, prevent actions, propaganda violation, cruelty and pornography.
