During the meeting, participants exchanged opinion on actual issues of ensuring security and stability in the SCO space, perspectives of further developing cooperation and improving mechanism of interaction with the SCO in fighting terrorism, separatism and extremism, as well as combating drug trafficking and internet terrorism.

The sides vowed to develop cooperation with the SCO with other international organizations in ensuring security.

Participants noted that documents, which will be presented for approval at the summit of the SCO leaders in Tashkent, will improve legal base for activity of the organization and mechanisms on adopting decisions within the organization on consensus principles.

The sides also reviewed report of the SCO Regional Anti-terrorism structure on its activity in 2009.
