Uzbekistan 17/09/2007 SCO Ministers of Extreme Situations meeting to be held in Kyrgyzstan
From 17 September to 21 September 2007, the 3d meeting of ministries and departments chiefs of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries responsible for prevention and liquidation of extreme situations consequences will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Extreme Situation’s press service said.

According to the press service, arrival of ministers responsible for prevention and liquidation of extreme situations consequences from Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan together with observers’ countries is expected.

Parties are willing to discuss a question on SCO center on prevention and liquidation of extreme situations consequences setting up. Besides, meeting’s participants intend to prepare a project of agreement on type form of basic documents on extreme situations assistance approval.

Bilateral negotiations between ministries heads will also be held. Kyrgyzstan Extreme Situation Minister Turatbek Junushaliyev will meet his colleagues from China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
