Member countries Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan shared security information and discussed further steps for anti-terrorism cooperation. The meeting addressed ways to combat terrorism, separatism, and extremism as well as serious criminal offenses.

Meng Hongwei, Vice Minister of Ministry of Public Security said "From July, all levels of Olympic security-related organizations and teams have moved into stand-by status. All preparations have been made in every aspect. We are confident of a safe and successful Olympics."
