Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sber continues to actively improve non-cash payment services, including in relation to money transfers to neighboring countries.
So, from 1 August, the bank’s customers will be able to make ruble transfers to their relatives and friends in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan without commission. The service is available in the SberBank Online app when transferring by phone number to cards of local banks.
Currently, in Kyrgyzstan, the service is supported by Bakai Bank, FINCA Bank, MBank, Keremet Bank, Companion Bank, as well as ELSOM and O! Money". In Uzbekistan - Agrobank, UniversalBank, Hamkorbank, Khalq Bank, Orient Finance Bank.
It is also possible to make money transfers to other CIS countries using the SberBank Online mobile application, with a commission of 1%.
Leonid Shnyr, Director of Sberbank’s Payments and Transfers division, said: “Given the growing demand for transfers from Russia to neighboring countries, we have reached an agreement with financial institutions in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on the possibility of making transfers from Russia without commission. The service of transfers by phone number is in great demand: customers like the almost instant transfer of funds and security. I hope that the willingness to provide a zero-fee transfer service for its citizens will be in demand outside of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.”
