Saneg plans to build a freight wagon manufacturing plant in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 June, a ceremony was held in Tashkent for the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Sanoat Energetika Guruhi, Gallaaral Management, and the leading Slovak industrial group AZC Orbis Invest. The agreement envisages the establishment of a factory for the production of railway freight wagons in the special industrial zone of Gallaaral in the Jizzakh region.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Uzbekistan, Viktor Borecký, as well as company executives.

General Director of Saneg, Tulkin Yusupov, noted: "This project is an important step for our company and the entire industry of Uzbekistan. The freight wagon manufacturing plant will significantly improve the logistics infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of transport operations."

The new production facility will include a full production line for various types of wagons, such as tank wagons, hoppers, flat wagons, and covered wagons. The annual production volume is expected to reach about 2,000 wagons. These wagons will support the logistical system of the Saneg group of companies and Uzbekistan as a whole with specialized logistic equipment.

Executive Director of AZC Group, Robert Spisak, emphasized: "We are pleased to be part of this ambitious project and bring our technical knowledge and experience to Uzbekistan. We already have international operations, and we see good market opportunities in Uzbekistan. I am confident that our cooperation will lead to significant improvements in logistics and industry."

Slovak company AZC Orbis Invest will provide the technical expertise and technologies necessary for the successful launch and operation of the production. The new plant will be a significant step in developing the industrial potential of the region and improving the country's logistics infrastructure.
