Samarkand to Host International Forum on AI Development in CIS Countries
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 7–8 August, Samarkand will host an international forum dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence technologies in CIS countries. The event is organized by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
The forum will take place at the Hilton Samarkand Regency Hotel and is expected to bring together over 100 leading specialists, experts, IT company executives, and industry representatives from Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
The platform is anticipated to play a key role in strengthening cooperation among CIS countries in the AI sector, formulating coordinated policies and standards, as well as fostering joint development of innovative solutions and identifying new scientific and technological opportunities.
The forum will conclude with the signing of agreements on knowledge exchange, joint project implementation, and coordination of AI-related policies.
