French newspaper reported article “On strengthening of cooperation with Uzbekistan”, dedicated to the 19th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence. The article covered reforms in Uzbekistan and cooperation between Uzbekistan and France.

The article said: “As an evidence for development of trustful cooperation serves intention of Digne-les-Bains city leadership on opening Samarkand square – pearl of Great Silk Road, which marked its 2,750th anniversary under UNESCO aegis.”
