Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 July 2025, in Bishkek, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, who arrived on an official visit.

During the talks, the foreign ministers discussed the full spectrum of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations, exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues, and outlined measures to implement the agreements previously reached at the level of heads of state and government. These steps were reflected in the corresponding Roadmap for Cooperation.

The parties noted the high level of political dialogue and the active pace of contacts at the highest and senior levels, reaffirming their mutual commitment to further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership. They emphasized their intention to jointly bring bilateral relations to a qualitatively new stage.

Special attention was paid to cooperation within international and regional organizations such as the UN, CIS, SCO, OTS, and OIC. The ministers confirmed their readiness to coordinate positions on key issues on the regional and global agenda.

The meeting also considered the Joint Action Plan for preparing the upcoming state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan, as well as the Cooperation Program between the foreign ministries for 2025–2026.

The negotiations were held in an atmosphere of trust, openness, and mutual support. The sides identified promising areas for further cooperation and agreed on the schedule of upcoming high-level events.
