The sides outlined promising spheres of cooperation in car making, mechanical engineering and metalworking during negotiations. A preliminary agreement was reached for Uzbek businessmen to make a trip to Nizhni Novgorod in 2008.

The presentation of the Nizhni Novgorod Chamber of Commerce and Industry was part of a bilateral economic forum, with over 2,000 experts visiting the region’s stand at the exhibition.

The exhibition displayed such Nizhni Novgorod companies as ARMA Group, the Heat-Insulated Pipes Plant, the Frunze and Korund plants, the TsNILKhI research and design institute of the wood chemical industry, and the Pustyn company.
