Economy 20/12/2007 Russian firm exports 8,000 tonnes of flour to Uzbekistan
The company started active business relations with Uzbekistan in early autumn 2007, which was the result of price rise to grain products, including flour.

Pava started to deliver flour to Uzbekistan in the first half of October and about 1,500 tonnes of flour was delivered to the country in the first week. The company said it fulfilled its contractual obligations and quality of product satisfied Uzbek consumers. In the end of November, the company signed four contracts in late November, which increased supplies by 15%. Currently, the product of Pava delivered to all regions of Uzbekistan.

The Russian firm said it supplied 6,500 tonnes firm October 2007 and the company plans to export another 2,000 tonnes by the end of 2007. The company added that overall it exports 8,000 tonnes of flour to Central Asian state.

Pava said in its press release that the company will keep flour supply volume to Uzbekistan and probably to expand exports through expansion of clients’ base.
