Russian CEC chief presents photo exhibition on Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A photo exhibition of the chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Russia Vladimir Churov titled “Uzbekistan 2014” will open at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia on 26 February 2015.
Images were taken during working visit of Churov to Uzbekistan, where he led the delegation of the Russian CEC to observe parliamentary elections to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Russian CEC said.
The elections were held on 21 December 2014. During the voting day, Churov visited Samarkand, Navoi and Bukhara regions to observe voting.
The exhibition, which will open in Moscow, will be also presented at the Embassy of Russia in Tashkent.
